Mr. & Mrs. Stuart | Rustic Elopement

I first got to know Lexi & Sherman at their engagement session last September. They were instantly the sweetest couple and so much fun to be around! We have been looking forward to their May wedding since then! Unfortunately, Covid changed the plans a bit, and their wedding was moved to next year. However, they decided to go ahead and hold a small ceremony in May! And of course I was on board! More pictures and time with this precious couple!

From the moment Lexi headed towards her groom, there were tears everywhere. You could really feel that this wasn't something taken lightly, but something long awaited for and really special. The wedding was held at their deer camp in Edwards, MS. This lakeside ceremony was absolutely stunning. The circle floral arch by The Ivy Place florist was to die for. Not to mention it was such perfect weather. But most importantly, Lexi & Sherman's excitement and love for each other was contagious. There may have even been some dancing during pictures that followed as you'll see below! I mean you kind of have to dance when "the Git Up" is playing. ha!

And afterwards, their families had a special surprise for them. They put together a video of special words and encouragement from all of their friends and family who couldn't be there. How sweet?! It's so difficult as a bride to plan your wedding for so long, only to have to change everything last minute. But these two handled it like champs and now they will have TWO special days to remember forever!

Lexi & Sherman, thank you for being so kind and for being true examples of what joy looks like! Y'all are not just clients, but friends! I can't wait to celebrate with you again next year!
