Well this post is a litttleeeeee (LOT) late. But I just had to share my baby's nursery with you! I absolutely love it. It's everything I could have dreamed! And there are so many special things and people involved in making it so perfect!
I originally planned to do a safari theme. It seemed easier because animal baby things are everywhere. But my heart kept going back to the beach/nautical theme. And of course there are SO many different directions you can go with this. I tried to stick with a more neutral color palette, and added some accents of things like sailboats, turtles, and sand dollars. I'm so excited for y'all to see it!
My sweet sister n' law refurbished this dresser for us! She also painted the crib which was my crib as a baby making it even more special!
These pillows and several other pieces of decor were gifts from my aunt who threw us a sweet baby shower and surprised us with so many fun nursery things!
I got this picture frame from Hobby Lobby years ago and never had a good spot for it until now! We also put my cart to good use for all of his diaper/bath things
This piece of furniture may be my favorite. My parents have had this for years and my dad refurbished it for Juju. I love the pull down cabinet. I keep all of Julian's cards & trinkets here!
Literally a story for everything, ha! Before Wes & I had told anyone the gender, we went to the Lucky Rabbit in Hattiesburg. My one goal was to get something for the nursery. I knew I wanted to use this color and found this perfect little, old truck!
These shelves are Ikea spice racks! Also, this chair was a gift from my parents. I have a bad back and it has been amazing!
I'm IN LOVE with this door hanger. I knew what I wanted, but door hangers like this on Etsy can be crazy expensive. My friend, Taylor Mangold, made this one for me. It was EXACTLY what I envisioned, and I will cherish it forever!
These were a Christmas gift from Wes when I was pregnant
These sailboat shoes were handmade by a family friend! So sweet!
I just love how it all came together! I'm so thankful for this safe place to watch my baby grow. A big thank you to everyone who had a part in it!
